# Rules

BidToMoon is a public leaderboard for crypto coins. Anyone can bid on any coin, and every bid adds to that coin's total. The coin with the most money behind it is #1. Rank is what the coin's backers paid, nothing else.

## The boards

- All-time: the sum of every bid ever placed on a coin, highest first. It never expires.
- Today: the current UTC day, midnight to midnight.
- Daily: every past UTC day, frozen as an archive.
- Chain and category pages show the all-time board filtered; rank there is the position inside the filtered list.

## How bidding works

- Bids are whole US dollars, from $1, also the first bid on a coin that is not on the board yet. A coin can hold up to $999,999.
- To take #1, a coin's total must end at least $1 above the current #1. Smaller bids still count.
- Equal totals keep the order in which they were reached: the coin that got there first keeps the higher rank.
- Bids only add to a coin; nobody can take money away from another coin. Payments are final and not refundable.

## Which coins can be listed

- A token identified by chain and contract address with at least one live DEX pair on DexScreener. Name, symbol, logo and links come from DexScreener (third-party data).
- Any coin on CoinGecko, identified by its CoinGecko id with chain `cg` (for example `bitcoin`): native coins and coins on networks without a board of their own. CoinGecko must show a current price, trading in the last 24 hours and a market cap. A coin with a contract on a listed chain is always listed by that contract. A bridged copy of a native coin (such as Toncoin on Ethereum) is a different coin. Name, symbol, logo, links and market data come from CoinGecko (third-party data).
- Each contract can be listed once. Proven scams, honeypots, impersonations and malware or phishing links are removed without refund.

## Paying

- Accepted: USDC (Solana, Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, HyperEVM) · USDT (BNB Chain, Tron) · BTC (Bitcoin) · SOL (Solana) · ETH (Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism) · BNB (BNB Chain) · POL (Polygon) · AVAX (Avalanche) · HYPE (HyperEVM). Stablecoins count 1:1 in USD; native coins are converted at a live price locked for 45 minutes (3 hours for Bitcoin).
- Each order shows an exact amount with extra digits at the end; send exactly that amount to the address shown. The digits identify your order.
- A bid counts once the transfer is confirmed on-chain, usually within a minute. Orders expire after 45 minutes (3 hours for Bitcoin); a late transfer can still be credited within 24 hours by submitting its transaction hash.
- Bitcoin: send the exact BTC amount in one transaction from a wallet you control (exchange withdrawals may split or round it). It counts after 1 confirmation, about 10 minutes; until then the checkout shows the transfer as seen.
